Jason Krouse*

Jason B. Krouse, Vice President Specialized Markets USI Affinity, Univers Workplace Benefits, Emerson Reid Jason joined USI in 2008 to lead the team in developing a practice specifically focused on the growing Non Benefit Eligible and Individual Major Medical Marketplace. For his previous career, Jason developed a practice focused on voluntary benefits, specifically medical plans for the working uninsured at Cost Containment Group.

During this time period Jason developed a sales and marketing division which created solutions for the Non Benefit Eligible employees at many of the nations premiere corporations including Wallgreens, GAP, Fed Ex, Belks Department Stores, IBM GE and Allied Barton. Jason is responsible for setting corporate direction, operational performance, marketing and sales for the new USI practice. Jason has served on four boards including one public company. Jason earned his Jurist Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern Shepard Board Law Center.

Jason is a regular speaker at industry events such as the Workplace Marketing Association and MI2. Many of Jason’s articles, focused specifically on the working underinsured have been published in the nation’s premier industry publication. In addition, Jason authored a chapter in the book, Worksite Marketing: A Promise To Deliver – How to Turn Voluntary Benefits Into Visible Results titled: “Protected By The 10” – The 10 Essential Elements of A Quality Limited Medical Plan. Jason has a son Zachary, a daughter, Jadyn and his wife of 15 years, Nicole.
