Corporate Wellness Leadership Awards

The Corporate Health and Wellness Association (CHWA) in conjunction with the Corporate Wellness Magazine (CWM), recognizes a select group of individuals and organizations each year whose achievements have enhanced and brought innovation to the corporate health and wellness industry. The Corporate Wellness Leadership Award will be presented to these individuals and organizations as part of the CHWA and CWM Annual Meeting held October 24-26th, 2012 located right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale/Miami at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.

This award recognizes leading employer groups for providing an exemplary program or innovation consistent with the vision of the Corporate Health and Wellness Association’s goals; to advance health and wellness, initiate health improvement and education by engaging plan members, promote proven strategies, and advocate for the cause of wellness amongst their plan members. The award also honors an individual whose professional accomplishments embody such qualities that drives the health and wellness industry forward. Award recipients are dynamic individuals with a passion for wellness!

Corporate Wellness Magazine Feature: If recipient of the Corporate Wellness Leadership Award agrees they will be featured in the Corporate Wellness Magazine as a leader and the CWM will provide an interview of the recipient in the featured piece in the magazine.

Eligibility: Nominees should be in the human resource department, wellness department or an executive officer at an employer that has an existing wellness program in place or who is launching a new wellness initiative. The award must be accepted by the person receiving it or a representative of the organization of which the award was presented to. The awards will be presented during a ceremony at the CHWA's annual event, the 4th Annual Corporate Wellness Conference taking place, October 24th-26th, 2012.

Who May Be Nominated

There are two types of nominations. Nominations may be submitted for an individual working for an employer involved in a health and wellness program from design, strategy, education, communication, enrollment and more. The second type of nomination is for an employer group whose corporate wellness programs embody excellence in worksite health promotion and are innovative in the programs they roll out to their employees.
